The data was taken from the San Diego County Registrar of Voter’s office and converted/analyzed to produce the reports. The term “community” is used to describe a place within the City of San Diego boundary. The term “unincorporated” means that the place is not a city (corporated). Unincorporated areas include many towns and villages.
First, each of the San Diego County cities are listed with their vote totals. Next, the City of San Diego vote total is broken down into each community. Finally, the “Unincorporated Areas” (which is listed as a total under cities) is broken down into towns and villages.
Contest Overview
In California, Proposition 11 passed statewide with Yes 50.90% and No 49.10%. In San Diego County, Proposition 11 received Yes 54.38% and No 45.62% votes.
